It’s essential to understand and adhere to the Rules and Terms of Service (TOS) to ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience. By accessing the Dante’s Inferno website or shard, you implicitly agree to these rules, so it’s your responsibility to stay informed about any changes that may occur.

These rules and terms extend to all aspects of the Dante’s Inferno gaming community, including:

- Dante’s Inferno Controlled Discord Channels
Dante’s Inferno Rules and Terms of Service
1. Unattended Gathering
Unattended gathering of any kind is strictly prohibited. This rule applies to various in-game activities, including but not limited to mining, fishing, lumberjacking, begging, turning in or collecting Bulk Order Deeds (BODs), buying from NPCs, looting, farming Doom artifacts, minor artifacts, lesser Treasures of Tokuno, Blackthorn’s Dungeon, house placement, IDOC searching/looting, and running quests or collecting quest rewards.
2. Actions that Impact the Cleanliness of the Shard
Players are prohibited from conducting actions that affect the cleanliness of the shard. This rule applies to various in-game activities, including but not limited to dropping and leaving 15 or more items on the ground in one area and leaving renamed animals behind while taming.
3. AFK Pet Training
Players are prohibited from AFK training pets outside of a player-owned house. While training pets in public locations, players must actively use the character responsible for pet training and be available to respond to staff members if necessary.
4. House Constructions and Customization
House add-ons must not exceed the 3-story height limit set by the game mechanics, further defined as 3 levels and a roof.
5. PvP and Arena Rules
- Players are forbidden from attempting to duel themselves in any manner.
- Using two characters simultaneously for active PvP engagement is prohibited. Additionally, scouting Champion spawns or Felucca locations AFK with a script is strictly prohibited.
6. Shard Advertising
Players are not allowed to advertise other shards within Dante’s Inferno, whether in-game, on the official Dante’s Inferno forums, or on Discord channels affiliated with Dante’s Inferno.
7. Communication and Behavior
- Players should avoid spamming in-game world chat, Discord, or the forums.
- The use of racist hate speech is strictly prohibited. (See Instant Ban)
- The use of profanity and profane language is discouraged in-game world chat, Discord, or the forums. Extreme use of profanity may be punishable at the discretion of staff.
- Harassment of other players and staff is prohibited.
- Trolling, flaming, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
8. Accounts
- Players should not exceed a limit of 2 accounts per player. Exceptions may be made for family members sharing the same IP address, provided there is no abuse of this limit.
- Sharing or selling your Dante’s Inferno account information is against the rules to protect the original account owners. Determination of the original account owner is based on IP addresses and region.
- For account-related issues or questions, please contact Kane through private messages in the game, on Discord, or through email.
9. Clients and Assistants
- Players are responsible for keeping their clients up-to-date with the latest patches.
- Multi-clienting is allowed and defined as being logged onto multiple clients at the same time while controlling them separately. It is permitted for various purposes, such as PvM encounters, skill training, and more.
- Multi-boxing, defined as being logged onto multiple clients simultaneously and controlling both clients with the same keystrokes/mouse clicks, is strictly prohibited.

- UOSteam
- Razor
- Razor Enhanced
- ClassicUO
- Orion
10. Real-Money Trading (RMT)
- Advertising any form of RMT on the Dante’s Inferno forums, official shard chat programs, or in-game is against the rules.
- Dante’s Inferno does not endorse nor discourage RMT, and participants engage in it at their own risk.
- Staff will not mediate or get involved in RMT-related issues.
- Dante’s Inferno is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of RMT, and this is acknowledged each time you access the Dante’s Inferno website or shard.
- Selling or giving away your Heritage account is prohibited to protect the original account owners, determined by IP addresses and geographical location.
Punitive Measures
Players have a five-minute window to respond to a staff member if they are suspected of breaking a rule.
- 1st Offense: Warning and removal of related items from the character (if applicable).
- 2nd Offense: Punishment at staff discretion.
Instant Ban Offenses
Certain offenses will not be tolerated on Dante’s Inferno and will result in immediate account termination. These offenses include:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to another player’s accounts.
- Advertising other shards.
- Exploiting game mechanics or unforeseen circumstances resulting in damage.
- Using or distributing disallowed client modifications or macros.
- Using of racist hate speech in-game world chat, Discord, or the forums.
Staff reserves the right to handle each situation with discretion.
